Mold smell

I don't know if this will help or not but it helps me when I clean a room: At the suggestion of a friend I use those Lysol Disinfectant Wipes. I used them on electrical cords and any place where there is that black mildew or mold. I've used it on chairs (even wood with no damage) and blinds, walls and ceiling fans. It seems to deter the regrowth for some time.

I also spray regularly with Lysol Disinfectant...the rugs and door handles, toilets, sink fixtures, etc. It is so humid here that even if we go without rain for a while we still have major humidity. We become used to it and don't notice it as much after living here for a bit. It's just part of the deal I think.
