Probably an unpopular opinion, but I won't like this change. I'm not a European shopper who walks to daily market.
I go to Safeway once a week and buy a lot of stuff at once, to save on gas driving into town. I have reusable bags, am up to 4 now that I always use at Island Naturals and now CostULess. They wouldn't be enough for my weekly Safeway shop. So what will it be, a bunch of loose groceries is my only option?
I do save all my plastic bags that are clean and dry, and they get used.
I don't like seeing landscapes littered with bags stuck to bushes either, but I'd like to see a practical solution. Oh and Island Naturals offers boxes like Costco, and last time I did that I had a batch of German cockroaches imported that were under the flaps.
