the "hot" milk was frozen and added bit by bit to the non "hot" milk to prevent it going to waste.
Sounds like a rational (for Russians) thing to do...
People forget that life is not safe - we are all taking a risk with every breath we take, every bit of food we eat, every step we take - now this is degenerating into a Sting song, sorry.
If electricity were invented today, it would be banned outside of strictly controlled laboratory use, it is far too dangerous.
The sun is a giant nuclear furnace, spewing all kinds of dangerous particles - I don't hear Greenpeace calling for a ban on it... yet.
