Why to live in Puna

well, the big island still has some of the best beaches in America maybe the poster was targeting the island as a whole not just puna. ??? I hear there are hidden beaches like black sand type or green sand beaches that arn't too bad. Gotta take what you can get even if it's only a 20-50' beach. Better then nothing I guess.
