Thanks OGL for reminding me that the civil union date is January. That's an exciting change. Nice to learn about your family. I agree it doesn't matter on a blog that what orientation you are unless you choose to share, although I think it is nice to know that about the diversity of members that we have here.

Lokahi, I am thinking that even though being gay is not a choice, that being open and out is a choice. Living life the way one feels natural or conforming to imposed and artificial norms is also a choice.
