I was much moved by your post. I can see that your work led you to the darkness of the human soul as well as the joy in making a difference to abandoned mistreated animals. Bless you for doing it as long as you could.

I hope that compassionate people keep up the work. Even if it burns them out, that is better than having people with dead emotional response take over the field.
