My guess riverwolf is you didn't have to give up your identity to get married (if you have ever married), in the USA, back in the day before computer science. Ah that would be anyone married after say 1994? My guess.

I've married 3 times, widowed twice. I can just imagine the scenario to prove how I am! Think I'll legally take my maiden name back that should be a legal challenge post the 2001 created theater.
