Hopefully you never have to worry about the "criminals". A gun to me is like any other tool, I would not have it if I did not think there was a purpose for it. As far as the statistics go, my automobile is the most dangerous tool I have. Most crime in Hawaii is a good old fashioned ass kicking with fists and feet. Good luck outlawing that one, seems like your only chance for survival is going to be a bigger set of fists and feet, although you would probably end up really hurt anyways. If only there was a way to put an end to a situation without hurting anyone? Guns prevent 4 times as many crimes as crimes committed with guns. As in no one getting hurt, despite some really crazy peoples intentions.
