I agree about the mall not being the optimum place, but part of the question was where do teenagers hang out here, and a lot of the teenagers in Hilo do hang out at Prince Kuhio. It's a large place out of the rain, with food, movies, games, shopping and a lot of open common space, and the bus stops there.
