Do you know what a Freudian slip is, Obie? It doesn't sound like you do. Which word do you think is the Freudian slip? Far from these words revealing some hidden thought or emotion, much too much has been read into them. There is less there than you think.

I said what I meant.
a) Domestic violence.
There have been big cases of domestic abuse tied to Ainaloa AND I know a young man who told me stuff that doesn't make the papers.

b) more sympatico to local familes than malihini. Malihini may not be liked by some of the residents. Resentment of newcomers might manifest.

c) Others will disagree.
Left room for other opinions to be just as valid and to look at it differently. Didn't insist my view of it is the only right view. Still don't.

What was not there was some statement that has been read in here such as wherever you have local families you automatically have domestic violence, or any statement that local culture is bad and to be avoided and stick with the white people. That is pure misreading and those are not my beliefs, never were, never said that, never thought that. And I don't live my life that way.
