Wrong. The industrial revolution happened because classic liberal revolutions convinced the world to try peace and prosperity for a while. War is a drain on resources and will never be anything but, especially the most precious resource of all, Life. All the progress made in the 19th century is now being lost as we all become welfare/warfare states. War is not good for the economy or anyone, let alone the earth.
