The primary election process was indeed screwed up, but the State has taken responsibility for the general election in a few weeks. We can keep beating the dead horse that is now Dominic Yagong's political career, or we can civilly discuss the important races yet to be decided such as Kim vs. Kenoi and Ilagan vs. Blas. How about it?
I agree.
I think Kenoi will win. I don’t think he deserves another term, but then I think Harry's too old. But then again, Hawaii is known for electing a lot of old and at times even dead people - so it could be a toss-up!
I think Ilagan deserves it, but I think most of his constituents could not tell him from Blas - so that election too could be a toss-up.
David clearly deserves election. Ford deserves unemployment. Her impotence on this Clerk and the election process just requires her to leave.
I am 50-50 on Wille or Shimaoka - they both deserve it - but only one will win. I think either will do a great job.
I am thinking Kern as Chairman. Perhaps one of the unopposed regulars, Yoshimoto or Ohishi as Vice Chair.
