Carey, It IS NOT Air Force One. It is a communications jet. It is a Boeing E-4, which is one of the military versions of the 747. It is much older than the 2 jets used as Air Force One. There are 4 of these types of jets used by the military.
The jet parked at the Hilo Airport was introduced into service in 1974.
As for the two jets used as Air Force One, they are Boeing VC-25's, another military version of the 747. They are normally known as SAM28000 and SAM29000. They were introduced in 1990. They are only called Air Force One when the President is on board. Generally the second Air Force One jet files along with the one caring the President, but they generally keep the whereabouts of the second jet a complete and total secret. It would only be brought in in the event the first one had a mechanical issue that would keep it from flying.
I see Obie added two Wikipedia posts that clarify the actual uses of the two planes.
I see “rainyjim” has added his typical worthless two cents worth as well!
Also, wherever the President goes, all these “support” air craft go too. The communications jet(s) and the second Air Force One. Sometimes even staying in the air just flying in a big circle. NEVER does the “support” air craft land at the same place the President aboard Air Force One does.
