Pog - damn good advice. Thanks. Anna - thank you and so good to see you around again! Dayna, you wouldn't believe the list of everything Pam has gone through or done!
Liskir - your initial post was removed because it was inappropriate and insulting to Pam. She has forgotten more about Lupus treatments and the effect the disease has on people than you will ever learn about the illness. Despite the crippling and painful symptoms she suffers and a diagnosis that usually leads to death well before the age of 50, Pam is still here to continue her lupus charity work and enjoy what she can from a life that has been extended by western medicine and her own strength of character. And I would like to think a little bit of love and care from me.
You are not a trained doctor. You are not an expert on Lupus like Pam. Even if you were, you have no business telling Pam what she has to do to cure herself. Learn a lesson here. Other people in this thread have not told Pam what to do. Some have kindly suggested things while also offering their love and support. You told Pam she could cure herself without having the faintest idea what is wrong with her.
Kindly delete your latest self-serving post from this thread and go away. Post your 100% guaranteed witch-doctor voodoo cures in another thread, I don't care which one, but I do care about Pam.
Get the message?
Sorry to post this, everyone, but liskir has gone beyond the line, not got the message and really pissed me off (yes, I know, Pog). In the meantime, Pam is back in touch and has asked me to thank all of you. She has managed to read this thread (I was hoping it wouldn't be with liskir's unhelpful contribution but there you go). I've encouraged her to post a thank you here but that might take a little more persuasion! In any case I can tell you she is incredibly moved by everyone's thoughts and is incredibly grateful.
Thank you again, everyone. What a wonderful bunch of people.
