I'd rather deal with Hawaiian mosquitoes or LFA than suffer through the no-see-ums we had in Alaska. Like LFA but smaller and with wings. And unlike LFA which take a substantial provoking to get bit, these bloodsuckers sought you out like microscopic vampires to leave their painful itchy welts. They definitely had their favorite blood types. Could be 10 people in the group and only one of them getting ravaged. I was that person.
