Oh, heart HURT! So sad to hear. Blame does no good in these situations. As much as we want to strap our kids to our sides at all times and put a protective bubble over them, we can't. We must let them live outside of our own fears. This is the kind of thing that could really happen to anyone, it only takes a second. We can all try to learn from and take precautions, but life isn't guaranteed and freak accidents happen. So sorry for the families loss, I hope you do seek counseling to forgive, be thankful for the short time, and be able to let go.
