Aloha everyone! My husband and I fell in love with the beauty of the islands two years ago, but even more- in love with the whole island philosophy... living for family, finding the good and positive, not allowing anger to take root....celebrating life and the people in it. (I hope this is true island spirit!!
) We have been thru so much as a family, and we are really -really - wanting to raise our two youngest with the same family oriented/living-to-live ideals that we have come to cherish. Soooo.... we don't fit in with the Haole's anymore here in Minnesota, eh?!!! lol! Husband finally made the decision to take early retirement, and we are looking at a relo to the Puna area... We want solitude, peace, native landscape, and maybe run into town every couple of weeks when we are out of supplies. Other than that, we plan to focus on our kids, home-school, teach ecology and life skills to them... and farm!
