I'm not familiar with the school lunch program, but if I understand it correctly, the breakfasts are taxpayer subsidized aren't they? If that's the case, it might be presumptuous for taxpayers on this forum to make food recommendations to you, but not completely out of line. If you do accept their help to feed your children their first meal of the day, you already asked them for something (unless I'm wrong about the school breakfast program.) Don't bite the hand that feeds your kids.
It takes a village. Some in your village may have thoughtful, valid suggestions for you to consider. That being said, even the village idiot has a computer these days. He may not have a clue what it's like to raise four children on a day to day basis like you do, but he does have an internet connection.
