NDAA is voted on every year and has to be. However they did not have to vote in a provision of indefinite detention for American citizens. If we followed the Constitution this NDAA provision and the actions resulting from the patriot act would be considered treason. Remember "enemies foreign and domestic" That is what they swore to uphold and protect the Constitution from. Maybe not shot on site, but certainly voted out and most of them tried for treason. There are some politicians who chose not to vote for either, Obama used to be one of them. Its not a red team, blue team thing, they are on the same team, don't fall for the illusion of choice.
