That site appears to be rather generic in its approach. Can't say its not useful for ball park estimating. IF you want to get into detail there are estimating books. Here is a book that I have some confidence in: http://craftsman-book.com/
This estimating book will have average costs for just about any aspect of building.... the average is rated as 1.0. Near the front of the book will be a chart of locations giving a factor for locations above or below that average. The newest books are expensive. Buy a year old book on eBay or Amazon for 15-20 bucks. Inflation has been low. A book a year or two old is fine.
