That said ... I'm wondering whether "factory-farmed" food (which is then probably GMO, but not necessarily) has a higher mineral and/or metals content from the artificial fertilizer, pesticides, and/or processing.
Of course, any "trace" amounts would be lower than the legally-defined "safe" levels, because that legislation was bought and paid for by the very factory farms that produce the "food".
The actual explanation is probably "planned obsolescence", as implemented by "cheap factories in China Inc."
