Hi Cheerio, sorry for not answering earlier, I didn't want to further bore others with non-Hawaii stuff. Yes, we had breakfast at the Green Salmon on our last morning in Yachats (and very nice it was too!), and we did briefly visit Cape Perpetua although we were running out of time so it was a short visit (we were in Yachats for only two nights). We stayed at the Ocean Cove Inn which I highly recommend and also visited The Drift Inn, Heidi's, Yachat's Underground Pub and Grub and the Luna Sea Fish House while I also got a chance to take some nice pictures of the area (e.g., the blow holes) although the weather was a little grey. Not a bad word to say about any of those places and the wonderfully friendly people of Yachats - it's definitely a place we'll visit again, and for much longer next time. Pam even got most of her Christmas shopping done there after a very kind store owner offloaded half her store on us for just a few dollars!
