Emergency Vet Services?
#5
Thanks for the leads. I'm not a regular at Maka'i so they wouldn't take me.

I did call Aloha vet last evening, spoke with the answering service and was told an on-call vet would call me back in 15-20 minutes. Never got a call back.

My dog seems a little more coherent and less listless than last night but he's still disoriented and doing weird head movements (left and right like he's saying "no"), and sometimes his legs are buckling....but then he gets a burst of energy and seems normal. He won't drink water so we mixed it in with his food. He has an appetite and was playing with my other dog this morning. At this point we can only think of 2 possibilities: 1) He licked a toad or 2) he's having a stroke. But we need to get him a blood test asap to determine the cause.

Am about to call Aloha vet again since they seem to be the only game in town right now.

Thanks again for responding.
Tim
