Safeway price error refund

Off island visiting CA & surprise surprise, Safeway "accidentally" overcharges here too. But when I complained, they refunded the entire price of the item. Never had that happen in Hilo Safeway. In fact I told them that & they said that policy is no longer in effect. Well it is Safeway policy as the result of a court order. Hawaii is part of northern CA.
