Plastic Bag Ban Begins Today

"Don't put your produce on the belt unless you are going to cook it or wash it really well."

I usually do wash it really well and since they switched from paper in the produce section to plastic (yes years ago that was small paper bags too), I put all my produce in the plastic bags that are still ok.. but no will never be recycled...

I agree the ban was nothing more than a political show, and will do nothing to help the environment. What it did do though is make it a nightmare for store security.
