It's a pre-Statehood subdivision with some Oceanic coverage, so I imagine someone has heard of it before -- I got the distinct impression they were being polite, and the real answer was "never gonna happen", but customer service is apparently not allowed to "tell it how it is".

I remain unaffected by the merger.
