I think Tiffany believes she is community oriented. Whether she is or not is in the eye of the beholder....but she once told me outside the council chambers (where I had testified in opposition to her POV) "why do I do this community stuff if I can't get what I want?". She did succeed is defeating a rezoning for a business in Pahoa. She didn't want the competition. While Pahoa has two banks, two pizza parlors etc. she couldn't tolerate anyone else selling competing products.
It was that zoning issue that drove her interest in Mainstreet Pahoa Assoc. We couldn't get her interested in it for two years at all until she figured out it possibly was a vehicle for her to control business creation in Pahoa... and to build some cred for a paying council job perhaps.
I really haven't seen her do anything that didn't have a buck attached to it in some way. To me the perfect campaign sign for Tiffany would be: Tiffany 4 Tiffany.

Assume the best and ask questions.
