I just saw this story about $200 million being made available to the Hawaii rental trust fund. I don't know anything more about it, but seems like with 25,000 new units built? added? converted? to the program, it's bound to impact Puna. Anyone know more?
House and Senate lawmakers have reached agreement on a bill to provide $200 million into the state rental housing trust fund. By 2030, they expect an additional 25,000 housing units to be created.
