Not a problem with more stringent requirements in more dense, urban environments.

My neighborhood is 32 properties, less than 100 people over a length of about 3 miles. Couple of hundred cattle over a lesser area, number of chickens likely close to number of people, pig population unknown but likely growing.

Good luck Puna folks looking to sell after recent events if state dictates mandatory septic upgrade as part of the sale.
