I've recently used Walgreens.com twice for ordering something online and having it shipped no charge to Walgreen's in Hilo. You then pick up at the photo counter.
One was a makeup pencil that no one sells here anymore. (Amazon had it, too -- for 50% more -- but they don't ship makeup to Hawaii -- don't get going. How in the heck can an eyeliner pencil blow up a plane?). 2nd item was control solution for my glucose meter. No local store sells it, and I can't even get from Kaiser Rx.
You're sent an email when order's ready for pickup. Both showed up 3 days after order, which was great.
FYI, might be an option for others to consider at some point. Yay for Walgreen's!
