I think Karma is suffering from a bad case of NIMBYism, or else is just afraid of kids and using the "emergency use of the building" as a red herring. When I was in HS a tornado destroyed a neighboring town and all its schools. We took in over 500 students, joining our HS of only 700, for 3 months, because it was the right thing to do. I guess it is a good thing we didn't live in HPP, or those kids would have been told to find another place to go to school.
