The previous parking are was destroyed by the tidal surge.Most vehicles would be damaged trying to park there and it floods at high tide.
It's a very short walk.
We have provided a lua at the new parking area.
The water is probably tested more than any other place on the Big Island.Like all waters in the state after the last hurricane, there could be higher concentrations of nitrogen.
If the water was unsafe I guess those that test it would post a notice.
