Hostage situation/ violence in mt view? answers?

I was out doing chores this morning and my first stop was water in Kurtistown. While filling I counted 6 to 8 police vehicles, an ambulance followed by a SWAT vehicle then two other white cop vans with blue lights. Never seen them before on the road. In bold letters on the side one said: "CRISIS NEGOTIATION" and the other was labled: "MOBILE COMMAND"

All the vans were loaded up with police in beefy riot gear and armor.
My first thought was WTF? I headed the other way on to Hilo to finish my chores. Anyone heard anything??
