quote:The Right of Entry document is from the County asking for just that. Shipman was also given one. Barricades actually would cut down the chaos by funneling vehicles up Makuu instead of free access throughout the park. Upper paved roads in HPP have requested speed bumps bc vehicles speed to the highway. Some don't even live in the park and live on the mauka side of the highway. They can't turn L onto the Hwy so they turn R and then L into HPP and speed through. Think of this on a much larger scale. JMO

Thank you, mermaid, for answering my question. I appreciate it. I can see why the County may be considered "uncooperative." I can also see that HPP is being uncooperative. What is a "right of entry" and why is it needed, especially in a state of emergency? (Not to put mermaid on the spot -- Anyone?) In addition to everything else, barricades would only add to the chaos.
JMO, please.
