Puna residents are terrified an outbreak of Ebola is imminent. With the questionable bathing habits of many in the area, especially the unwashed masses who attend a Sunday Maku'u Market (recommend: AVOID). It has been calculated the disease will spread throughout the district like a fissure eruption on the nearby and about to explode Mauna Loa Mountain, at a rate exterminating the population in less than a month. Also, houses in HPP are infested with Assassin Beetles that will infect you with a brain disease if you survive Ebola. All medical facilities in Pahoa have recently been closed, and the only pharmacy is about to be covered by 15 feet of lava (depending which way the powerful, thick, choking smoke filled winds blow). I would consider these factors in your choice of a vaction rental, and reconsider picking any location in Puna as your destination.
Parts of the post are just funny. But most of it are just stupid and wrong. Where the hell does she come up with this?
But, just wanted to add, that most people behind the volcano like live past longs, or are down far enough on the ocean haven't even noticed the smell from the volcano yet. Like at my house in Hawaiian Beaches never smell it yet...
