Most Big Island districts are like Puna and contain areas of lava zones 1,2, or 3. North Kohala is the universally different district in that its source volcano is the only one of the five on island to be considered extinct.

I'm not sure what facts or logic you're referring to. You've given your opinion that everyone should stand on thier own two feet, and that anyone effected by the lava flow has crapped out. Are you actually surprised that a community discussing options for addressing a life-altering event would reject your snide opinion and empty cliches?
