I would like to point out that not all the wrongs suffered by the Hawaiians are ancient history. It has been my observation that they continue to this day. Exploitation did not fade away at some vague point in the past. It goes on.
Here is a small example: My cost to survey my property was about $700. I saw a line item in DHHL's budget a few years back where DHHL was paying a surveyor to survey 7 Hawaiian Homelands lots for $67,000... and this is just a tiny example. These monies are "managed" in trust for the Hawaiian people. Who is serving who?
The fleecing continues.
