Gas prices are at least decent if you buy groceries from them, so that, I believe, is the draw, besides "convenience" of variety.

OH do not get me going on Safeway! They do have good choices there but they are an insult to the poor folks on this island. They figure wtf! Many are on food stamps and they will pay any price they charge! Its true people will. I love there so called sales. BUY ONE GET SECOND FREE but what they dont tell you is they raised original price on the single item and hopw you do not notice it. They have a clever way of getting back same money they originally were selling item for but some of the dumbass public cannot see whats going on so They get away with it.As I said do not let me get going on this subject of Safeway. BIGGEST RIPPOFF MAINLAND RUN CORPORATION. $2.79 for a can of green beans. A tiny steak over $21 bucks. Everything in store is double or triple of anywhere else but we buy there!??No one ever complains. We lost our drive to protest anything anymore if this was another country the people would uprise and get store to be fair in their pricing. OK ILL STOP LOL It is a real big personal subject of mine mainly because I live on such little and so do many of you and stores like this make our lives harder
