FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH MON AFTERNOON
#1
I guess this has to do with the lightning and thunder we had last night? The 1.7" of rain was nice to fill up the catchment tank. Got over 2500 gallons.

FLASH FLOOD WATCH
ISSUED: 3:07 AM NOV. 17, 2019 – NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON...

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for all Hawaiian Islands.

* Through Monday afternoon.

* A trough of low pressure will linger across the island chain
today through Monday, while an upper level low moves overhead.
This will produce very unstable conditions across the state,
bringing the potential for periods of heavy rainfall and flash
flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions are favorable for flash
flooding. Flash flooding is LIFE THREATENING. Do not cross fast
flowing water in your vehicle or on foot.

Monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action if a Flash
Flood Warning is issued. If you experience heavy rain or rising
water, head to higher ground immediately.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 25 to 33 knots

hazardous to small craft. Inexperienced mariners, especially
those operating smaller vessels, should avoid navigating in these
conditions.
