smoke detectors

My Kidde ten-year lithium battery smoke alarm just went off again for the third time this week. Another went off the week before. They are only two years old. I sent one back and got it replaced last year. I've given up on nine volt batteries because they wear out so fast and hard-wiring is not an option. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Certainty will be the death of us.
