Kiana - don't worry about a little extra weight. It's completely unpredictable who suffers altitude problems, and again, most people get by just fine. Of the few people I've had to take down to sea level, most were actually young and fit! The people who seem to get on really well up there are middle-aged overweight smokers!
If you had no problems at 10,000 ft before, you should be just fine for a few hours at 14,000 ft. Relax and enjoy the trip! Let me know if there's anything else I can help with, but Carey has everything pretty much spot on!
