with the addition of internet ... we will get even more ... who don't care about kids, land, water, or clean air.

I counter thusly: with a well-developed internet, I wouldn't have to burn fossil fuels to drive to retail shopping centers that occupy large tracts of land. Don't blame the tools simply because some misuse them.
