Hokule'a arrives in Sydney, Australia today (HST 3:00pm)
http://www.hokulea.com/
(*Was shown livestream, video being uploaded to site, including interviews.)
The Hokule'a is such a fine representation of our Hawai'i nei. Our culture, our Kupuna, and our ability to navigate the seas the way our ancestors traveled.
There are such inspirational young ones aboard, guided by the older, seasoned ones. May they guide the next generation into a better tomorrow.
The islands of Hawai'i, that we call home, has this team that will remain steadfast in showing the world what Hawai'i represents. A perfect combination of old and new times, with the basis of our culture still in tact (No; no phones or computers to guide them). So very proud. Mahalo ke Akua.
IMUA E NA POKI'I! (*Go forward little ones)
Hokule'a, Star of Gladness

"Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers,
for by doing that, some have entertained angels unaware."
Enjoy your evening, all. Life is short. [

JMO.
*Note: Not verbatim - Kamehameha stated, "God forward little brothers", we (my ohana) include na wahine today.
ETA: Video of arrival is uploaded:
