Reality check: Although you have to pay in to get SS retirement benefits, a great majority of people pay in only a fraction of what they get back. In that sense, it is at least partially welfare. It's also a sort of Ponzi scheme since it requires an ever increasing number of people paying in to support the recipients. Due to the fact that the government loans itself the money you pay instead of investing it, the return is negligible, and unless there is reform, it will be broke by 2030, kingdom or no kingdom.
Back on topic: Bystander tells us, "Like another poster said, all SS benefits would continue under the kingdom." That is absolutely true, but EBT, Section 8 housing grants, WIC food programs, Medicaid, Medicare, and cash welfare payments under Federal block grants cannot be paid to residents of foreign countries. The kingdom doesn't get to have the cake and eat it, too.
