I can't speak for everyone but a lot of us were raised to fix problems not run from them. Your assumption that we are miserable is laughable. It's not difficult to recognize a problem and attempt to rectify it without letting it affect you.

Some may view pointing out problems with corruption in government as a negative. Others may view it as a positive. Perception is relative maybe stop judging others based off your assumptions?
