I too have experience with Taylor. If you are an owner-builder or just plain want prior approval, insist you get to review and discuss the plans BEFORE they go to county for permit process. In my case, it took over a year to get plans and permit to reflect "as built". Partially my fault as I refused to build as they were drawn, but were already in the county process. Taylor does good work.
