The mechanisms by which we arrive at the endgame are mostly irrelevant: someone did something illegally, it was a long time ago, nobody will ever actually be punished for any wrongdoing. There's no point in assigning blame, other than making sure the historical footnotes are accurate.
Lots of different groups protesting lots of different things, but as none of them can agree on what they actually want, these protests amount to much noise and distraction while saying little. I find their "problems" more depressing than anything else.
To anyone who suggests that I can't possibly understand the issue because I didn't have my country taken away from me, I disagree: these protestors are destroying the place I chose to live. If I had known that Hawaii wasn't really a State, and that non-Hawaiians weren't allowed to live here, I would never have moved to this place.
