Untold millions snuffed out before even being allowed a chance.

Vastly preferable to being born into drug-addicted squalor.

Cheaper than the eventual incarceration.

Abortion is only obsolete if a safe, nurturing home is guaranteed to every newborn, and if all humans of reproductive age have access to safe, effective contraception. Neither is true today. Forcing the "unwanted" children into a wretched life is far less humane than abortion.
