I have spent a few years living in "socialistic" countries and let me tell you, life can be very good there. My European friends live their lives relatively free of fears we deal with every day. That freedom, which we largely lack, seems to suffuse the daily life there. Puts a different twist on "the land of the free". If Hawaii could morph in that direction I would be pleased.
