I might go to a local Costco, but travelling to Kona doesn't work for me.

Latest urge to enroll/drive to Kona for solar batteries, deemed uneconomical, as figured thusly:
1) Although Costco was reputed to stock 6v 232AH batteries @$100, neither the website nor abortive attempts to talk to Kona personnel could confirm
2) Local source@$150 x4 = $600
3) 3 hours there, 3 back plus an hour in store, give myself min wage @$8/hr = $56
4) Two tanks of gas @30 ea = $60
5) Wear on vehicle, figure same as gas $60
6) Significant i.e. +%20 that they don't have them. Wasted trip. $50
7) have to buy membership $55
=~400 + 281 = $681 to get in Kona, vs $600 here.
Local flavor of transaction, Priceless.
